Club Safeguarding Officer
Our Safeguarding Officers are Kristine Kearney and Ainslay Swindells. Kristine and Ainslay have undergone training from Scottish Gymnastics to carry out the role of Safeguarding Officer on behalf of the club.

DGC2K Complaints Procedure
Dundee Gymnastics Club 2k follows the guidelines set out by our governing body Scottish Gymnastics for Safeguarding and complaints procedures.
Making a complaint
- Any complaint should be made in writing and should contain specific details including dates and times, the issue and names of any witnesses.
- Complaints surrounding unsafe practice or child protection issues should be addressed to the Safeguarding Officer (SO), above.
- Complaints about coaching issues such as training groups and competition entries should be addressed to the Head Coach – bea@dgc2k.co.uk
- Complaints connected with club management, payments, or other club matters should be directed to the chairperson – clare@dgc2k.co.uk
Responding to a complaint
The SO, Head Coach, or Chairperson should respond within 5 working days, acknowledging receipt of the complaint, explaining the process and confirming the timescales which will be followed.
